To Get To Your Next Level, You Must Step Out on Faith To S.T.A.R.T.
Are you ready to take those bold steps of faith to START leveling up into who God has called you to be?
Well, that requires the power to just S.T.A.R.T., an acronym for five essential steps to stepping into your next level.
Let's break it down.
S - Seek God First
Before you begin any journey, seek God first.
Proverbs 3:6 reminds us to acknowledge God in all our ways, and He will direct our paths.
I can’t tell you how many times I jumped into things without consulting God, only to realize later I should’ve prayed first. When you seek God, He gives you guidance and clarity.
Pray, ask Him if what you’re pursuing aligns with His will, and trust that He will reveal the answers. God often confirms through signs and moments that speak directly to your heart.
T - Trial and Error
When you step out, be ready for trial and error.
Mistakes are inevitable, but they are also necessary for growth. Don't let fear of messing up keep you from taking action. Remember, even in failure, you are learning and evolving. Think of mistakes as stepping stones; they are lessons that strengthen you.
The Bible says the righteous man falls seven times but gets back up. So get back up, and keep pushing forward. You’re not the same person you were yesterday; you’re working toward a better tomorrow.
If you're not making mistakes, you're not trying hard enough. Mistakes prove you’re stepping out and moving closer to your goal.
Take these “L’s” as lessons, never as losses.
A - Ask for Assistance
We weren’t meant to do this journey alone.
Start by asking for God’s assistance. Psalm 23 calls God our Shepherd, guiding us on the path we should take. Stay connected to Him, as He is our source of strength and wisdom.
Beyond that, seek help from people who have walked the path you're on. Look for mentors, coaches, or even free resources like podcasts and YouTube videos. And don’t forget books—they’re full of wisdom and can open doors to new insights.
If hiring a coach isn’t in the budget, there’s still plenty you can do. Books, podcasts, and online content are gold mines of knowledge. For example, if you’re looking to start a business, immerse yourself in resources on entrepreneurship.
This is how you level up—by learning from those who have gone before you.
R - Restart Again and Again
Don’t let setbacks stop you from pursuing the vision God has placed in your heart.
Every time you feel like giving up, remember why you started. Keep the vision behind your eyelids so that each time you close your eyes, you see it clearly. Focus on what you know God wants for you and block out the noise.
There will be distractions, but remember, we walk by faith, not by sight.
Every time you fall, rise up and restart. Keep going back to your why, and let that motivate you. God placed that vision in you for a reason, and it’s going to manifest when the time is right.
Don’t let temporary obstacles keep you from the incredible things God has for you.
T - Tarry Towards Triumph
Victory is already yours in Jesus Christ!
First Corinthians 15:57 says that God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
God has already set up our victory; we just have to continue moving toward it. Picture Jehovah Nissi, our God of victory, waving His banner over your life—IT'S A DONE DEAL!!
That dream life you envision? God put that desire in your heart because He wants it for you.
Every time you think it's out of reach, remember that God has already declared victory over your life. You’re fighting from a place of victory; Jesus has already won the battle for you.
Tarry on, Queen, and keep going after that dream.
